The Cruising Association extend an invitation to a meeting intended for anyone thinking about, or planning to cruise in European Inland Waterways, as well as those who have already cruised a part of the area but who would like to visit new countries.
 
Friday 26 November 2010 7pm at CA House, Limehouse London
 
Topics to be covered include:-
 
Cruising in France & Belgium - Roger Edgar
 
Cruising in Germany & the Netherlands - Colin Gordon
 
Choosing & Equipping a Boat - Roger Edgar
 
A Review of New and 2nd Hand Dutch Steel Boat Types and Brokers who sells them       -  Stuart Bradley
 
Regulations, CEVNI Rules and ATIS Radios  -  Colin Gordon
 
There will be ample time for discussion, including other cruising areas and matters not covered by the presentations. Where possible, written summaries,( particularly of sources of information) will be made available.
 
Attendance will be free for CA members, and non members will be welcome at a charge of £12 which will be deducted from their first year’s subscription if they join at the meeting.
 
The bar will be open and food will be available from 6pm, with a Supper Break at 8pm.

Marjorie and I are interested in attending. Do we need tickets or
is it "just turn up for 7pm"? Have also sent you an e mail but no
response to date. Don Walker
PS, Have tried to call the CA number quoted but
got a private house so have now sent an e mail to Ella Blunt at CA.
