Rance Barrage Re-opened PDF Print E-mail

Maintenance work on the lifting bridge over the Barrage lock and other works were finally completed on 17th April. The operation commenced in January and during this period there was no access to or from the Rance estuary from either end, as the lock at Le Chatelier was also closed.  All is now reported to be back to normal, in time for the season.
